Paul finishes his final words before finally getting into the practical commands and exhortations of chapter 4.
His prayer for these believers is that they would comprehend these grand spiritual truths about God's love for us and our identity in Him, so that we can grow in our worship and obedience to God.
One of the hardest truths for us to accept as believers is that God loves us just as much as He says He does.
But if we want to grow, we must.
And resting in His love will help make our hearts more willing and able to obey what Paul has to say to us in chapters 4-6.
