So do not weaken and do not grieve | Quran Ki Fazilat

After the defeat of the Muslims in the Battle of Uhud, Allah revealed aya 139 of Surat Aali Imran, giving believers timeless lessons in dealing with dejection.He tells us not to let this sadness overwhelm us and not to beat ourselves up because our faith in Allah has placed us in a supreme position. While situations change, Allah is a constant source of empowerment.

This Surah takes its name from ayah 33 of Al-Imran, like the names of many other surahs, is merely a name to distinguish it from other surahs and does not imply that the family of Imran has been discussed in it.

Surah Al Imran , Family of Imran Verse 139 (Quran 3:139)

وَلَا تَهِنُوۡا وَ لَا تَحۡزَنُوۡا وَاَنۡتُمُ الۡاَعۡلَوۡنَ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏
اور (دیکھو) بے دل نہ ہونا اور نہ کسی طرح کا غم کرنا اگر تم مومن (صادق) ہو تو تم ہی غالب رہو گے
So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.
(इसपराजय से) तुम निर्बल तथा उदासीन न बनो और तुमही सर्वोच्च रहोगे, यदि तुम ईमान वाले हो।
তোমরা হীনবল ও দুঃখিত হয়ো না, বস্তুতঃ তোমরাই জয়ী থাকবে যদি তোমরা মু’মিন হও।
துணிவிழக்காதீர்கள்; கவலைப்படாதீர்கள்; நீங்கள் உயர்ந்தவர்கள்தான் நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கையாளர்களாக இருந்தால்.
Ne lâchez pas pied et ne soyez pas attristés, car c’est vous qui êtes supérieurs si vous êtes croyants.
