The song “Wise Souls” was inspired by some of the hard-working women who recycle, by collecting and washing, second-hand jerrycans and plastic bottles along the roads of Gulu, in Northern Uganda.
Those women, most of them single mothers, face several challenges but keep on smiling, hoping that their working conditions will improve and that the government will recognize their environment - oriented business which allow them to survive and grow their children.
