Does the UltraBoost Washing Machine Method Actually work?

DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible if you damage your shoes washing it in the washing machine. Also Don't use bleach unless you have the exact same Ultraboost 1.0 All Whites like I have here. Because The upper is a cream white, and not a solid white colour.

I'm super happy to finally get my hands on the Adidas Ultraboost All White 1.0 especially at a steal price! But the catch was that the shoe was basically beat to the ground. It's good that it was used for its real built purpose, which is to rock it, but sometimes its good to take care of your shoes as well. Anyways I've heard a lot of people trying out the method of cleaning the UltraBoosts in a washing machine and their results turned out like it was brand new again. So I had to try out this phenomenon myself.
