What should be a clear definition of hate crime is still a matter of controversy. But if we talk about the present perspective, then hate crime can be defined as a crime which has a wide impact not only on the victim but also on the entire society or a specific social group or class etc. For a long time, there is a continuous increase in the number of such crimes, due to which it becomes necessary to talk about this topic.
