And some four million live in Germany. Islam is the fastest growing religion in Europe due to immigration and above average birth rate. Muslim couples have more children than Non-muslim couple. According to a data 2021, there are currently 2300 mosque in France with a further 200 to 250 planned. According to pew research center, the Muslim population in Europe excluding turkey was a bout 44 million in 2010. France and Germany have the largest populations.
The data 2021 reveals there are 5.7 million Muslim in France and 5 million Muslim in Germany.
The rise of the Muslim numbers is likely to increase Muslim phobia in Europe.
