A new Covid variant found and developed in South Africa has started to haunt the world.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has requested the PM to stop flights from the countries with new variant cases.
"Every person returning from South Africa will be quarantined on arrival in Mumbai," said Mumbai Mayor
Mumbai Mayor Kishori Padnekar also said that their samples will be sent for genome sequencing.
Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar has also announced mandatory quarantine after arrival in the state.
