British military personnel arrived at an oil storage unit in Hemel Hampstead on Monday. The government ordered the military to assist with the delivery of fuel as a short-term solution to the acute shortage of haulage drivers.
Brexit restrictions have wreaked havoc on many supply chains in the UK in recent months. Fuel has been the most recent casualty as BP cannot source drivers to deliver their supply of fuel.
