Taken from a Let's Play livestream highlights of Final Fantasy 14: Stormblood. Healer is the backbone of the party, and requires constant awareness of the battlefield in both ally and foe alike. Healing requires constant juggling of battle mechanics on a macro level to be truly effective. The success or failure in battle is largely (though indirectly) rely on their support - they are the invisible hand that guides the battlefield from beginning to end.
