#PandaStory: When Xiao Qi Ji came indoors around 9am this morning, a tub of (panda-safe) bubbles awaited him. While momma Mei Xiang went and ate treats from the feeder, Qi Ji dipped his paws (look at his white "glove!") in the tub, and proceeded to plunk his rump down and splash water out of it! During a refresh, Mei Xiang joined him (unlike last time) and anointed herself with the bubbles, but Qi Ji wanted his tub back! Finally he got it back, and he thoroughly played with it, flipping and nipping it! So much fun to watch! Then when he was through, the treat feeder got his undivided attention as he rolled on his back (like momma!) to spin it around! After tumbling a bit, he attacked the bamboo, and got a drink from the pool because having fun is thirsty work!
In the afternoon, while Mei was eating bamboo under Qi Ji's tree, the leaves started bouncing, and down he came! (Yes ... I've been waiting for those big leaves to Fall, and Qi Ji is assisting them to the ground!) A bit later and it happened again, and off he scampered at a very fast clip (shown in both camera views). Then a final scene (split horizontal screen) of Qi Ji being Qi Ji, following his mother around their yard while they're waiting to go back indoors for the day.

Nursing Observation: Xiao Qi Ji has nursed 3 times in the past 24 hours ... yesterday morning (10:40am) for about 17 minutes (briefly shown in yesterday's video), late last night (10:49pm) for about 11 minutes, and early this morning (3:51am) for about 18 minutes!
