When math finally comes in handy

When you're tired of missing your shots in Apex Legends. These cheatsheets will help you get a better understanding of the lead and bullet drop for each weapon + every scope in Apex Legends. You can find them all on https://www.tvapexlegends.com. Besides that I also collected all data on the mobility, ADS, damage, hip fire damage and damages per second. Did you know there also is a channel for Warzone: @tv.warzone

The Sentinel can be equiped with four types of attachments which impact the amount of zoom, rounds and mobility & handling. The Sentinel has a bullet velocity of 818 m/s. Surprisingly it shares the same bullet velocity with the Longbow. Just to give you an idea. Shooting a sprinting target at 200 meters distance means you’ll have to lead your shot by 169 cm or 5.54 feet. No attachment influences the bullet velocity or bullet drop.

Adding a scope penalizes the Aim Down Sight (ADS) of a scope ranging from 50 to 200ms which isn't mentioned anywhere in the game. To compensate for the penalty you should be looking for the Sniper Stock. The sniper stock provides quicker handling, aim drift reduction and faster reload times. Let’s see how much it impacts each of these characteristics.

The aim drift of the Sentinel without any attachments makes the weapon pretty much unusable at long distances. I personally think you shouldn't be targeting enemies further than 100 meters away.
The Sentinel is a bolt-action sniper rifle. Increase the Tactical Reload by attaching the Deadeye's Tempo. It doesn't add a crazy bonus, but it can still be a life saver. The Deadeye's Tempo doesn't impact the speed of an empty reload. The Sniper Stock however does. Again, the bonus isn't anything crazy at all.

The base damage of the Sentinel is decent. You could even charge the weapon by using to Shield Cells which increases the damage by about 25%. I didn't test this just yet. All numbers are based on the base damage profile.

I tested the hip fire damage of the Sentinel at a distance of 5 and 10 meters. Both times I tested it while standing and while crouching. It's pretty accurate at both distances. Hip firing while crouching is significantly more accurate than hip firing while standing.

The fire rate of the Sentinel can be influenced by adding a Sniper Stock for faster empty reloads and an Extended Sniper Magazine which reduces the amount of times you'll have to do an empty reload. The Extended Sniper Magazine has the biggest impact on the fire rate.
