Pakistan celebrated its Independence Day on Saturday. For hundreds of men in Lahore's Greater Iqbal Park, it was the occasion to assault a woman, tear away her clothes and throw her in air. A disturbing video of the incident has surfaced on the Internet.
The victim is TikToker in Pakistan. She alleged that she was assaulted and thrown into the air by hundreds of people during the country's Independence Day celebration on August 14.
A disturbing video of the incident has gone viral on the internet. The media reports quoted her saying that a huge crowd of men surrounded her to humiliate and assault her in park, named after Allama Iqbal, hailed as Pakistan's national poet, and also houses Minar-e-Pakistan, the country most iconic monument.
