In this video i go through the rules and restrictions associated with trading the news with FTMO. We look at the FTMO Economic Calendar and how to manage your trades in the funded account around news restrictions. News restrictions are only applicable to funded accounts so there are no restrictions in the FTMO Challenge and Verification stages. You can leave your positions open through restricted news events, you just cannot open or close positions 2 mins either side of them. News restrictions are also not applicable to the FTMO Swing account type.
