For close to a week now, the number of covid 19 cases recorded every day has been on the rise. The positivity rate has been on a steady increase and is now at an alarming 14.4 percent. The number of hospital admissions due to the disease is also on the rise leading to the high demand for medical oxygen. The Ministry of Health on Sunday reported 15 deaths related to Covid-19 and 467 new infections.
