Key time to identify important areas and companies to invest in: Mr. Aishvarya Dadheech

ET Now spoke with Mr. Aishvarya Dadheech, Fund Manager, Ambit Asset Managers about what themes does he see play out, how he sees the home improvement category play out and his views on the midcap financials. Mr. Dadheech believes that a lot of the fiscal and monetary stimulus is behind us, making it important to identify good areas to invest. He sees chemicals, IT and consumer discretionary do well in the short to medium term. He sees midcap banks and NBFCs at a very interesting juncture insofar as they have been gaining market share and spent time and energy in putting their finances in order. He believes they have managed the covid crisis well and the companies will do well, especially in the housing space.
